THEATRE SEASON

Theatre UNO in the School of the Arts brings 4 main-stage productions to the Lakefront campus each academic year. We collaborate with the Creative Writing Workshop to showcase our playwrights in a Fall reading series. We encourage our ÕýÃÃAV to connect with the New Orleans theatre community and aid in internship placements. As part of our community outreach mission, we offer special student matinee performances for local high schools. Our program provides a broad, liberal arts education as it trains ÕýÃÃAV in the disciplines of acting for stage and screen, directing, and design. We strive to inspire creativity, imagination and investigative thinking, as we prepare ÕýÃÃAV to enter today’s ever-changing performing arts markets.
